Unit Managing Director - T&D - Manufacturing - Plant Manager

Our client, a large power industry OEM, is actively searching for a Unit Managing Director with high voltage equipment manufacturing industry experience to work near Augusta, Georgia. This position is responsible to provide the overall management of the instrument transformer business unit. Included in the responsibility of this position is the entire business unit and will be Finance, Information Systems, Tendering, Contract & Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Product Quality, QMS & SDCI, and EHS.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a Bachelor degree in a technical discipline such as a BSEE or BSME and ten to fifteen (10 - 15) years industrial experience (including strong management experience). Requires 3 years experience at the General Manager (GM) or Operations Manager level of an Industrial Company. Ideally will have Unit Manager experience within the T&D field or for an international group. Will consider experience for the heavy production industry such as automotive, aircraft, train or other heavy production equipment. Must be fluent in English. Must have a strong background in production/quality. Must have strong management skills and experience. Must have proven experience in an international company (USA, European or Asian). Must have previous experience managing 100 persons and $45 Million/300 MRMB in sales.

COMPENSATION:
Annual compensation is anticipated to be in the range of $175,000 - $210,000 including a base of $160,000-$170,000 plus 24% bonus target.
